On October 13, FAW Bestune officially released the official images of the Bestune Pony five-door version, and the new car will go on sale at the end of October. The five-door version continues the cute styling and colorful color schemes of the two-door version, with the biggest change being the addition of two more doors.

In terms of dimensions, the five-door version measures 3350/1540/1600mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2215mm. Compared with the two-door version, the body length has increased by 350mm and the wheelbase has been extended by 262mm. Getting in and out of the rear seats has changed from "climbing in" to "walking in," a clear improvement in practicality. The official also confirmed that the new car will be equipped with a CATL battery.

The Bestune Pony is FAW's first micro pure electric model, and its cumulative sales since launch have reached nearly 300,000 units. The addition of the five-door version fills its shortcoming in space practicality and also gives users who need a commuter car but want more convenience in the rear seats one more option.

Quick comment:

The two-door Pony won over a group of fans with its cuteness and low price, but getting in and out of the rear seats is indeed not very convenient. The five-door version extends the wheelbase by 262mm, which can be regarded as fixing its biggest complaint, and with the addition of a CATL battery plus the foundation of nearly 300,000 units in sales, this small car's practical character is now more complete.
