On October 9, it was announced that the FAW-Volkswagen Magotan 30 Million Units Selected Edition will go on sale tomorrow (October 10). The new car is specially launched to commemorate the model's sales of 30 million units and is currently available for pre-order on the official website. The pre-order benefits include a basic trade-in benefit of 5,000 yuan.
The new car is built on the previous-generation B8 Magotan model and has been upgraded in terms of configuration. The interior is equipped with cloud-feel seats, power adjustment for the driver's seat, and a Bluetooth digital key. The body dimensions are 4866/1832/1479 mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2871 mm.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 220 horsepower and a peak torque of 350 N·m, matched with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.
Dada review: The previous-generation B8 Magotan went on sale in China in July 2016. Its exterior design is steady and dignified, the interior uses a large amount of soft material wrapping, and the chassis tuning is typical German style, filtering fine bumpy roads very cleanly and giving the driver enough confidence during high-speed cruising and cornering. The Magotan 30 Million Units Selected Edition is built on the previous-generation B8 Magotan, with upgraded configuration, and all models use a high-power 2.0T engine. It is the optimal version of the B8 Magotan. If the on-road price is within 200,000 yuan, it has a certain cost-effectiveness advantage.
