On February 14, ARCFOX released official images of the new Alpha S5. The new car mainly features adjustments to exterior details and color options, with the biggest change being the addition of an extended-range powertrain version.

In terms of exterior, the overall styling of the new Alpha S5 continues the design of the current model, with the main changes concentrated in the front and rear ends. The new car adopts redesigned front and rear bumpers, with C-shaped air deflectors on both sides of the front bumper paired with a closable grille, and new decorative elements have also been added at the rear, aimed at optimizing aerodynamic effects and enhancing the visual sense of sportiness.

In terms of color options, the new model adds a brand-new green paint finish for consumers to choose from. The body dimensions remain consistent with the current model, with length, width and height of 4820 mm (4886 mm)/1930 mm/1480 mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 2900 mm.

The new Alpha S5 adds an extended-range powertrain version for the first time. The extended-range model is equipped with a 1.5-liter range extender with a maximum power of 77 kW, and the drive motor has a maximum power of 200 kW, matched with a 27.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The new car will continue to offer a pure electric version. Referring to the current model, the pure electric version is expected to still offer single-motor and dual-motor configurations.
