Recently, XPeng Motors released official images of the G9L, showcasing the vehicle's exterior and interior design while also disclosing some configuration information.
The XPeng G9L is a mid-to-large SUV, with length, width, and height of 5,120 mm, 1,999 mm, and 1,782 mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 3,100 mm. It will be equipped with the first major upgraded version of XPeng's second-generation VLA.
The XPeng G9L features a closed front fascia, equipped with a full-width LED light assembly, with AI digital projection headlights integrated into both sides of the front bumper and an active grille shutter in the center. The body sides are equipped with hidden door handles and power-operated soft-close doors. The rear features a roof spoiler and full-width taillights.
The XPeng G9L adopts a dual-sharing floating center island design, equipped with dual 50W smart liftable wireless charging and dual connected cup holders. It is equipped with a large floating central control screen, an 88-inch AR-HUD head-up display, a 9-inch streaming media rearview mirror, and a 21.4-inch 3K rear-seat entertainment screen. The second row is equipped with a smart four-motor executive center island that can be activated by voice, providing a wireless phone charging panel, a folding small table, and dual hidden cup holders.
The interior adopts a five-seat layout, and the seats apply all-body-type AI active fitting technology. The entire seat has a total of 91 pressure sensors and can automatically adjust the support structure according to changes in occupant body type and seating posture. The vehicle will also offer a 33-speaker audio system and an onboard refrigerator, equipped with an overhead panoramic sunroof and power sunshades for both side windows. The vehicle has a 5.1 m² usable cabin area, and the maximum trunk volume is 1,152 L.
The G9L offers both pure electric and extended-range powertrains, both available in two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive models. It adopts 800V ultra-fast charging, adding 450 kilometers of range in 9 minutes.
Xiaotang's view: The G9L's exterior design maintains the brand's family style while emphasizing a sense of space through its larger body dimensions; the interior, through seat active adjustment technology and independent rear-seat comfort features, places the product focus on the riding experience in the "large five-seat" scenario.
