Recently, the actual production vehicle of the Chery Fengyun T7 was officially unveiled. Positioned as a pure electric compact SUV, it adopts a 5-seat layout, offers a single range across the entire lineup, and will begin pre-sales on August 12.

The Fengyun T7 features a closed-off front fascia paired with slim split-type LED headlights. At the rear, it is equipped with a full-width taillight strip and a roof spoiler above. It uses traditional exposed door handles, with the charging port located on the right rear side of the vehicle. The vehicle measures 4570 mm in length, 1852 mm in width, and 1694 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2700 mm.

The Fengyun T7 adopts a two-tone three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and is equipped with a digital instrument cluster and a large floating central control screen. The area in front of the center console armrest box provides air conditioning vents, wireless phone charging, physical buttons, and dual cupholders. It is also equipped with a two-section panoramic glass roof, a SONY audio system, rear air conditioning vents, and more.

The Fengyun T7 is driven by a single motor with a maximum power of 178 kW (approximately 242 horsepower), a top speed of 180 km/h, and a CLTC range of 600 km, with no distinction between higher and lower trim versions. The chassis adopts a combination of MacPherson independent front suspension and multi-link independent rear suspension.

Xiao Tang's view: The Fengyun T7's 600 km range across the entire lineup eliminates users' choice concerns, and its 178 kW power and 2700 mm wheelbase offer an on-paper advantage in its class. The long-cycle validation system aimed at the global market also provides additional endorsement for its reliability. The exterior and interior are not over-designed, and the equipment is centered around high-frequency daily scenarios, with an overall style that is steady and pragmatic.
